- Was the first instructor to host a countrywide Koei-Kan Karate-Do Warrior Training Camp (1994)
- The “Bushi Gashuku” – A weekend event that held a day and a half of rigorous physical training - testing courage and showcasing fortitude while forging spirits as well as longtime friendships. “If you were there – you remember”
- In addition, he has hosted 5 “Senso to Heiwa” (“War & Peace”) Camps in Michigan
- Developed “Tokun – Man Waza” – 10,000 Technique training (very - Intense ten week training to accelerate “Conceptual Principle Understanding & Practice”)
- Sits on the State of Michigan Koei-Kan Karate-Do Board of Directors
- Is a member of the USA Koei-Kan Karate-Do Board of Directors
- Authored the “Koei-Kan Karate-Do Instructor Training Manual” which served to solidify teaching methods at both the Utica and Shelby Township Michigan Dojo.
- Produced two instructional DVD’s :
- “Instruction the Basics of Koei-Kan Karate-Do – The Mason Method”
And
- “Nage No Kata (Basic Take-Down and Throwing Forms) of Koei-Kan Karate-Do”
