Trained in Okinawan Art of Sei Shin Kan in Lincoln, Nebraska '86
Relocated to Ventura, Cal and began training in Koei-Kan Karate-Do in '92
Fought at Tai-Kais in '94 placing 4th out of 55 competitors in Jiyu-kumite
2 weeks later, fought in California State Open Tournament and took 1st place vs systems outside of Koei-Kan (Huge difference!)
Around 2000, I took time off to raise my kids and coach their fast pitch softball teams until I re-started my Budo training back up in 2010 to 2013.
With kids all grown up and being semi-retired in 2020, I decided to fully re-engage into my Koei-Kan journey and finish what I started under Sabat Shihan
